LAMPANTE 2017 HAS BEEN AWARDED WITH THREE GLASSES 2021 BY GAMBERO ROSSO
Once again this year, Italy’s most authoritative Guides have given their highest ratings to the wines of the Lunelli Estates, confirming the outstanding quality to which the Lunelli family has always aspired in the production of its still wines.
The first major accolade is represented by Gambero Rosso’s 2021 “Italian Wines”, the best-known of the Italian guides devoted to our product, which this year gave its “Three Glass” rating to the 2017 Montefalco Rosso Riserva Lampante.
This top award was also given to the 2017 vintage of Auritea, the 100% Cabernet Franc from our Podernovo estate in Tuscany, which also won Three Gold Stars – recognition only given to wines that have attained a score of at least 94 points out of 100 – in the 2021 Veronelli Golden Wine Guide, one of the most influential and prestigious wine sector guides, founded by Luigi Veronelli in 1987.
Another important accolade for the Auritea Cabernet Franc Costa Toscana, this time from the 2016 vintage, was the WOW! Gold Medal at the Italian Wine Competition, the first such event held by Civiltà del Bere magazine; it is the only competition promoted by an Italian publication and is reserved for our nation’s wines, whose excellence, typical characteristics, value and identity it seeks to highlight.
