Tenute Lunelli and Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro: a new chapter in the dialogue between wine and art
On October 3rd, the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro in Milan will host a special event celebrating the deep bond between Tenute Lunelli and the artistic universe of Maestro Pomodoro. On this occasion, the preview of the exhibition Open Studio #4 – Arnaldo Pomodoro. Places, Memories and Visions will be presented. From October 4th, 2025 to May 31st, 2026, the exhibition will offer the public a unique journey through sculptures, visionary projects, and archival materials.
Together with the exhibition, on October 4th the new Visits with a Glass will begin — special activities within the program that will debut during Milan Wine Week (October 4–12). Arnaldo Pomodoro’s Studio will open its doors to the public, where visitors will be able to learn about Maestro’s life and works, discover the secrets of his workshop, and explore the many facets of his career through the Open Studio exhibition, welcomed at the start of the tour with a glass of wine offered by Tenute Lunelli.
This initiative seals the collaboration between the Foundation and the Lunelli family, tied to the Maestro by a long-standing friendship and by shared creations, including the Carapace — the winery-sculpture designed by Pomodoro for Tenute Lunelli in Bevagna, the first architectural work in the world to merge art and winemaking.
This new collaboration renews a dialogue that intertwines wine and art, complementary expressions of beauty, culture, and exploration, which the Lunelli family and the Pomodoro Foundation have nurtured for many years.
