Tenute Lunelli Wines Honoured at The WineHunter Award 2026

Tenute Lunelli wines have received important recognition at the 2026 edition of The WineHunter Award, presented by the Merano WineFestival jury as part of the event dedicated to excellence in the world of wine, which will take place in Merano in November 2026.

For Tenuta Carapace, Carapace 2021, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, received the GOLD award, reserved for wines scoring between 93 and 96 points. GOLD was also awarded to Lampante 2023, Montefalco Rosso Riserva DOC, and Carapace Lunga Attesa 2019, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG. All three wines are produced in the heart of Umbria at Tenuta Carapace, home to the winery designed by Arnaldo Pomodoro: a unique work conceived as a large-scale sculpture where art, architecture and the surrounding landscape come together.

Among the Tuscan wines of Tenuta Podernovo, where organic production in the Pisan Hills is centred on respect for the environment and the enhancement of the local terroir, Teuto 2023, Costa Toscana IGT, and Solenida 2020, Costa Toscana IGT, both stood out, receiving the GOLD award.

These accolades once again confirm the Lunelli family’s ability to interpret and showcase the distinctive identity of each territory through its wines.
