Tenute Lunelli Awarded at The WineHunter Award 2025
Tenute Lunelli’s wines have received prestigious recognitions at the 2025 edition of The WineHunter Award.
Carapace 2020, a Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G. known for its elegance and balance, was awarded the GOLD medal, reaffirming the expressive power of this iconic wine from the Carapace estate in Umbria. Sharing the spotlight with the same recognition, Ziggurat 2023, a Montefalco Rosso D.O.C. that stood out for its bold character and deep connection to the land it hails from.
From the rolling Tuscan hills of Tenuta Podernovo, two wines captured the judges’ attention and received too the GOLD medal: Auritea 2019, a Cabernet Franc with complex minerality, and Teuto 2022, a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that reflects the versatility and richness of the Pisan hills.
These results are yet another testament to the Lunelli family’s unwavering vision of crafting wines that not only reflect, but also elevate, the identity of their unique terroirs
